When we rented this apartment we had three stormy days when we could not go skiing except along the very nice recreation path that is passing just by Village Green. During these days we tried many other features in the neighborhood. We visited the trap Family Lodge, the Ben and Jerry Ice Cream Factory and at least ten charming shops. Our experience from this week was that even with bad weather conditions there is no problem whatsoever to have lots of fun at this place.

What many people already know is that Stowe has fantastic ski slopes for all categories of skiers, beginners and advanced. In addition, there are a variety of trails for those who want to go cross country. A convenient free bus picked us up and took us to the slopes, trails, or for shopping and restaurants in the village. No need for a car! If you prefer to bring a car you can park right outside the apartment. Shoveling and sanding is managed by the resort staff and works very well. We will definitely do this again, our kids loved it!
