Fantastic owner, location, and house. We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not be more satisfied. It was a quick walk to all the shops and dining places. The room was affordable and the bed was comfortable. The owner, Rose, was extremely welcoming and nice. This is an exceptional place to stay if you want to get the full Stowe experience!

The 1860 House is cozy, warm, and conveniently located in the center of Stowe. We've stayed here twice and this second time was even better since we are getting to know the town a lot better. Rose Marie recently remodeled the kitchen and bathroom, and they look look great! We love skiing at Stowe Resort and eating at the local restaurants like The Bench & Pie-casso. This year we went dogsledding at Peace Pups which was a blast! I definitely recommend staying at this lodging in Stowe. We can't wait to come back!
We rented out the whole place. Would definitely come back!
Par contre ne vous attendez pas à être les seuls locataires, à vue de nez il doit y avoir 6 chambres. De plus, notre chambre était à moitié en sous-sol, pas génial si vous cherchez une chambre avec vue.
Les chambres sont confortables et la maison bien placée.
