Visited for the pool. Very inexpensive, nice pool for the family. Hot tub wasn't working, otherwise would be five stars.
We stayed with some friends for a nice night away and it was wonderful! The place was a little outdated, but that added the charm to it. We absolutely loved the pool and hot tub area. The hot tub is in this beautiful room and is very unique. The outside is beautiful and front desk staff was very pleasant. As I'm writing this we haven't had breakfast yet so I can't comment on that. The only thing that was wrong was our toliet had some issues, but nothing too major.
Don't stay here! Beds are awful, outdated rooms! Free breakfast served stale cereal and fruit! And worse of all when we changed our minds within 3 hrs of checking in off the road to only stay one night instead of 2, they would not give our money back! The barefoot manager told us not to beat up the front desk with our legitamet complaint and laughed at us!! When I told her it wasn't funny and not to laugh at us , then she got mad and asked if we did this often!! VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL!

Great place. Older homey feel and friendly staff was great for our preseason stay. It snowed too! Breakfast had fresh hot muffins and bread alongside bagels. No hot food though. It's only 5 minutes from downtown Stowe and a few more to Stowe mountain. Overall, highly recommended. No regrets.
