Great flavor but basic cooking techniques were a bit below satisfactory for three dishes that were ordered. I ordered the mussels appetizer, steamed dumplings and beef pad tai. The mussels were well seaoned with authentic Thai spices but the mussels were overcooked (tough) and too salty. Because it was tasty I remedied the saltiness by adding a bowl of rice to it. It became a meal in itself. The dumplings were also tasty but were also overcooked. It would have been perfect if they were steamed just long enough for the dumpling wrapping to be al dente. The pad thai noodles were well seasoned and could have been perfect if only the beef pieces were tenderized and seasoned. Because it was my first time to the restaurant I can't judge on the consistency of the food quality. However, given that everything was well flavored I would come back when I return to Stowe, VT for vacation. I will write a note to the owner concerning this with criteria on improvements. Being that it's the only Thai place close to town I want them to be successful. The decor was beautiful and the ambiance was comfortable. Photos of the interior and my food are posted. Another reviewer mentioned that tip was added to the bill. It wasn't so in my case.
Too expensive.
Amazing Thai spot. I just came back from Thailand and this food is authentic as it gets. We met Patrick, the owner, great guy. Certainly worth the stop, good vibe too. I had Green Curry, so good!
The owner/waiter was super nice, but the food was overpriced and very fair taste. The crab fried rice had minuscule bits of crab in it. The calamari was in a tempura batter that none of the four of us liked, plus there were only ~ten small pieces for $9! The potstickers were very tasty, but only four, so a bit overpriced. The sushi rice was refrigerated which takes so much away from the taste. The salmon on the rainbow roll was smoked, not raw. A $25 shrimp and scallop entree had ten small shrimp and scallops and barely any rice or noodles! Really unsatisfying!
Tiny portions of food.
A generous tip was automatically added by the owner in the bill. If we had not noticed, we would have paid double tip.
Staff was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and drinks were good too.
