I've banked here in the past. Their online banking was pretty good, but they just kill you with fees if you make one small mistake. I'd rather do my banking with a local bank.
- They go out of their way to make every interaction as "friction free" as possible. (And, with all of the regulations Uncle Sam has placed on banking, that's not an easy task!) Example: The last account I opened with TD bank took only a few minutes, there were a few "Sign Here's" on forms filled out by the staff, and they handed me my personalized debit card. I was done.
- They're open convenient hours, including Saturdays.
Full disclosure: I work for a different bank, but I bank with TD Bank. There's a reason for that. Many reasons.
- The staff is so friendly it's hard to not feel like you've got a friend in the banking business.
There are a couple of local banks in town, and their customers seem satisfied, but TD Bank has the advantage that there are branches about everywhere we go and every one seems to adhere to the same high standards of customer attention.
